Charity action "Help me stay with my mom" to support the Social Accommodation Unit for Mother-and-Baby Copules
There are children abandoned in the very first days of their lives, when they have absolute need of mother’s care and affection. With Your help, at least 10 of 80 newborns abandoned yearly in Chisinau maternity hospital can stay together with their families.
EveryChild Moldova is implementing a charity campaign for the support of the mother-and-baby social accommodation unit, where parents with newborns or pregnant mothers in their last term of pregnancy, at risk of abandoning their babies, are placed. Based on family model, the unit provides social assistance, psychological and legal counseling, care, and education services aimed at achieving the reintegration of mother-and-baby couples with their families and communities.
