The fundraising campaign "You Make the Future!" on reorganisation of Cahul residential school

The campaign lasted from October 2008 till March 2010, and its goal was to collect 80 000 EURO to finalize the project “Reorganization of Cahul residential school”. The project was launched in 2007, with financial support of Andreas A. David Foundation. However, due to big building expenses and devaluation of Moldovan currency, we came to the conclusion that the planned funds were not enough to successfully finalize the project.

The funds were necessary for the building of Social Apartments for orphans – graduates of Cahul residential school who have no place to go after graduation. Within the campaign we placed fund-raising boxes in big shopping networks: Metro Cash&Carry, Green Hills, Fourchette, No. 1 (In Chisinau – within Sun-City mall and a shopping area situated in Telecentru sector), and IMC Market (in Chisinau – Buiucani sector).
