Family Support and Reintegration
services were implemented in the Republic of Moldova in all localities where EveryChild has worked. The working principle of these services is to support the family at crisis to avoid child’s institutionalisation or help the child to be reintegrated in biological, extended or alternative family.

Family Support has focused not solely on financial support provided to the family at risk. We are guided by the principle that in order to help the family recover from crisis it is not just money that counts, it is also about psychologicla and emotional support.
Local public authorities from Chisinau and Cahul have taken over these services integrally for further development in 2002, and those from Ungheni and Orhei at the beginning of 2006.
